Review: Filorga Oil Absolute

When facial oils started becoming popular, I never understood why someone might want to drench their face in a greasy substance - mainly because I had combination skin and preferred a matte face. However, growing up my skin has become more dry, tired and in need of a more potent product that will penetrate deeply into the skin and give it a nice boost of hydration. I have been using Filorga products for the past couple of years and can swear by how these products transformed my skin - so when the brand released a facial oil, I was totally sold!

Review: Grown Alchemist Haircare Range

If you have been following my blog recently, you will know I have been testing several hair products in a mission to find the perfect match for my hair type and concerns. One of the exciting hair launches this year (at least for me) was by the famous Aussie brand Grown Alchemist, the new range was developed after years of research to develop a professional line that goes beyond the common functions of regular hair products i.e:cleansing and conditioning the hair.

Review: Tresemmé Botanix Hair Collection

When it comes to drugstore haircare products, there are very few brands that I truly trust, as many of them are loaded with chemicals that does more harm than good to your hair. Tresemmé has always been one of my favourite hair brands, offering professional hair products at affordable prices and containing less detrimental ingredients. I was invited to an event by Tresemmé over a month ago and I was kindly gifted the Botanix range to try and today's review will be all about my experience with the shampoo and conditioner from this line.

Review: Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer by IT Cosmetics

Okay, I'm not sure from where to start but as you might have noticed - my life has been crazy busy recently and I haven't had the time to blog much. However, I'm back with a quick review of a product that I have been eyeing for ages and finally got the chance to test out. I'm talking about the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye concealer, which was a "Nikki Tutorials made me do it" type of purchase and I have always been impressed by how it made her under eyes look!

Review: The Ordinary Skincare

For a long time, we all spent fortunes on all-in-one skincare products that weren't targeted towards one skin concern and promised to solve all our issues - but did these products achieve the desired results? That’s questionable. I have been introduced to The Ordinary skincare through YouTube, in which many influencers claimed these products were more targeted than regular ones and it gave them prominent results - while each product costed them a few bucks. So, I was immediately drawn into buying a few serums to try and this is what I’m going to review for you today - after using them for over a month.

Review: Weleda Sea Buckthorn Range

Apologies for being MIA lately, I have been so busy with work, life in general and now I'm back in full force! When it comes to body care products, I have never paid much attention to ingredients and I used to buy whatever is available at the supermarket. However, my skin has changed drastically over the past couple of years as I suffered with dryness, itchiness and sensitivity appearing in the picture - especially around my hands, legs and arms. Thus, I have decided to explore natural body care brands that will help tackle these issues and maintain the overall well-being of my skin. I have recently been contacted by Al Manara Pharmacy who were kind enough to send me products by Weleda, the Sea Buckthorn range in specific and I was so excited to test it out.

Review: Pureology Hydrate Shampoo and Conditioner

Growing up, mum has always been the one encouraging me to take care of my hair - as I had extremely long hair that needed to maintained regularly.  I never thought much about this piece of advise until a couple of years back, when my hair started falling due to hormonal changes and other factors - and that's when i started investing in good hair products. One of my most amusing videos on Youtube is Caroline Hiron's product empties, her reviews are extremely reliable and she has a great sense of humour! She raves about Pureology products in almost all of her videos and of course i had to have my hands on them to see what's all the hype about.

Review: Kat Von D Everlasting Lipliners

Kat Von D has always been one of my favourite brands for lipsticks - especially the Studded Kiss range and liquid lipsticks as they have a special place in my heart. In the past few years, I have become a lipliner kind of girl (thanks to my uneven lips *sobs internally*) as they help give my lips more definition and extend the wear of my lipsticks. So, when the Kat Von D PR team sent me 28 of the Everlasting lipliners - I was over the moon and couldn't help but play with all the vibrant colours in this collection.

Review: Rimmel Live the London Look

Rimmel has always been one of my favourite drugstore brands, offering a wide range of high quality makeup for affordable prices. I was recently sent the "Live the London Look" kit, which included some of the best-selling products by the brand and was populated along UAE/GCC as the perfect Eid look. The kit is supposed to contain 4 products for a full-face of makeup, mine contained only 3 and the remaining product was sent to me a few months back to review as well (MAGNIF'eyes eye shadow palette), so I was still able to create the full look.

Review: Filorga NCTF range

Let's all agree that we're not getting younger and the need for reliable, effective skincare products is immense. If you've been following my blog for a while, you would know i'm a big fan of the Filorga Skin-Absolute day cream and i call it my holy grail moisturiser. That being said, I have always been intrigued to try other products by this brand to find out if they're just as good. I was lucky enough to try the new NCTF Reverse, which is an intense anti-ageing range and today's post will be all about my experience with this line for the past few months.

Review: Phyto Hair Products

I've never been the person who spends money on expensive hair products as drugstore one worked just fine for me. After dieting for a couple of years, being under stress at work and not using professional products - I have started noticing the deterioration in the quality of my hair and this was the real call for action. I was contacted by the PR agency of Phyto hair, a french hair brand and they were kind enough to send me some products to test out. Thus, today's review will be all about my favourite products from their range.

Review: Sanctuary Spa Products

Lately, my life has been so congested as i'm constantly trying to juggle between work, events and personal stuff. That being said, zoning out at the end of each day and pampering myself with bath/body products has been the ultimate cure to all problems. Many british Youtubers raved about Sanctuary Spa products, so i was always intrigued to try them out but they weren't available in Dubai. Luckily, I was contacted by the PR company handling this brand - they sent me a couple of products to test myself and today's post will be all about my experience with this brand.

Review: Kat Von D Tattoo Liner

First of all, apologies for being MIA recently as life and work has become busier than ever but it's all for the good. If we have met in real life - you're probably aware that eyeliner is a vital part of my makeup looks, even the thought of not having any left at home freaks me out! Thus, I'm always on the hunt for eyeliners that are rich in colour and stays on all day. Finally, I got around purchasing the Kat Von D Tattoo liner, which everyone and their moms are raving about. Today's review will be all about my experience with this products and whether it's worth the hype.

Review: Bobbi Brown Old Hollywood Eye Palette

Over the years, I have always purchased eye shadow palettes based on recommendations from friends or other bloggers. However, last christmas I wanted to venture into new items or experiment with anything limited edition for a change. I was torn between two high-end palettes but I ended up settling for the Bobbi Brown old hollywood palette. Today, I will be sharing my opinion on this palette as well as swatches of the shadows for your reference.

Review: The White Room Spa Ibn Batuta Branch

On days when work gets overwhelming I like to pamper myself with a salon visit. Luckily, I was invited to the opening of "The White Room Spa" at Ibn Batuta which entitled me to try one of their services and check out the new store. Despite having straight hair at the moment, I opted for the signature blow dry and today's post will be all about my experience with the SPA in general.

Review: MaxFactor Miracle Touch Primer and Foundation

When it comes to base products I'm always on the hunt for ones that will perfect my skin without being too fussy. I have tried most types of foundations from liquid, powder, stick to cushion but cream format was never down my alley. Maxfactor has recently released the new Miracle Touch Cream foundation along with a smoothing primer and knowing the quality of their makeup I was excited to give these a try.

Review: Medcoll Natural Collagen Boosting Supplement

As we grow older, our bodies stops producing collagen which is responsible for keeping our skin looking plumped, tight and youthful. Unfortunately, it is extremely difficult to maintain the level of collagen and elastin in the skin as we are exposed to free radicals that destroy these two important components and speed the first signs of ageing. The market has been flooded with supplements and creams that are marketed as collagen increasing supplements. However, the production of collagen/elastin is an internal body function that no tablets or creams can ever achieve. I was recently introduced to Medcoll Collagen Boosting supplement which is supposed to be a game changer for common skin concerns and today's review will be all about my personal experience with this product.

Review: Rimmel Magnifeyes Eye Palette

Over the past few years I have developed strong love for drugstore makeup. Honestly, there are certain items that I wouldn't buy from the affordable makeup section; foundations are one of them as the shade range is always limited. However, when it comes to eye shadow palettes the choices are endless and quality-wise they are as good as high-end. Today's pick is about the all new Rimmel Magnif'eyes palette, so keep on reading to find out more!

Review: Caudalie Vinosource Range

I'm the kind of girl who gets bored of using the same products over and over, so switching up a couple of products every month has become a habit of mine. Also, using products smartly is a virtue that I learned through the past few years and noticed a positive change on my skin. Recently, I have been testing two products by Caudalie from the Vinosource range and today's review will be all about my experience with them.

Review: L'occitane Delicious Almond Collection

I'm spending this winter trying out new products that has been sitting in my drawers for so long, patiently waiting for me to try them out! L'occitane's Almond collection was one that I was testing for the past couple of months and it took me quite a while to jot down my opinion as it's a gift set that contains 5 items! Without any further adieu I'll jump straight into the review of all the products that came in the box.

Review: Bourjois Eye Products

It's true that eyes are the window to the soul and as beauty addict i like to decorate mine with makeup! Bourjois has always been my favourite brand of affordable makeup as the quality is comparable with luxury brand but the price is more pocket friendly.  The brand has released a new range all about eyes which includes: Mascaras, eyeliners, eye brow products and even pencil highlighters. I was kindly sent a few products from the range to try, the goodies have been well loved by yours truly and today's post will give you an insight about the items as well as first impression review.

Review: Burberry Fragranced Luminising Powder

I have never been a fan of the whole "blinding" highlighter trend, keeping it simple and subtle is right down my alley. Before the holidays we all browse through sparkly things online, whether its clothes, decorations, gifts or even makeup. Honestly, I wasn't intrigued to buy any holiday makeup collections as they tend to be overly expensive and get sold out in a week's time. However, when I spotted the Burberry fragranced luminising powder from the winter collection - I knew it was love at first sight and immediately added it to my cart.

Review: Izil Products

Many of us invest tremendous amounts of money every year seeking the best skincare products. As a beauty addict myself, I have spent the equivalent of a car instalment on various skin items, which might have contained harsh substances and didn't necessarily do anything miraculous to my skin. Nowadays, many emerging brands are encouraging going back to basics by adding nothing but natural ingredients in their products and implementing recipes inherited from ancestors/grandparents. One of these brands is "Izil" who kindly invited me last month to visit their new kiosk in Dubai Mall and discover the ancient secrets of Moroccan beauty.

Review: Revlon Products

Picking up the best of drugstore makeup is never an easy task for me, as I'm constantly trying new items every month. That being said, there are affordable brands that always stand out to me comparing to others and one of them is Revlon. I was sent a few products last month, which i've been testing quite a lot and today i'll share my review about them.
