Review: Kat Von D Tattoo Liner

First of all, apologies for being MIA recently as life and work has become busier than ever but it's all for the good. If we have met in real life - you're probably aware that eyeliner is a vital part of my makeup looks, even the thought of not having any left at home freaks me out! Thus, I'm always on the hunt for eyeliners that are rich in colour and stays on all day. Finally, I got around purchasing the Kat Von D Tattoo liner, which everyone and their moms are raving about. Today's review will be all about my experience with this products and whether it's worth the hype.

The eyeliner comes in a pen format - Packaging is matte black with the brand name printed in the gothic font along with some stars. The pen is thin and lightweight making, which means its handy to keep in handbags or when travelling.

The innovative liquid liner is supposed to provide precise application - mainly because of the flexible and thin felt tip that it has. Also, the product claims rich pigmentation, smooth formula and long lasting power. The product comes in two shades: Trooper (Matte Black) and Mad Max Brown (Rich chocolate brown), I went for the black as it was the most hyped about. The felt tip of this liner was the star of the show - its indeed long and fine allowing you to map out and draw a precise line. It's sturdy enough for goof-proof application but at the same time it doesn't feel stiff on the eye lids. The formula glides on easily delivering intense matte black line, unlike other eyeliners that goes on patchy and dries out grey. Also, the formula is waterproof so it won't smudge or fade throughout the day or during hot summer days. I have received many compliments on the way my eyeliner looks recently, thanks to this amazing product.

Overall opinion:
I'm highly impressed by the quality of the eyeliner and Kat Von D makeup in general never disappointed me. It's extremely easy to use even for beginners and will totally change your eyeliner game. The product is obviously worth the hype and recommend giving it a try if you're on the hunt for a high performance eyeliner.

Note: Priced at AED 99 at all Sephora stores across UAE.
