Review: Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb & Diamond Bomb Highlighter

Just when I was about to say the festive season is around the corner, I realised it's already here and that's how fast the time has gone! So, it's time to pull out cozy sweaters, sequins outfits and of course glitter/shimmery makeup. Fenty Beauty is quite well known for the latter, as the brand always comes up with the most dazzling collections that can instantly transform your look from day-to-day to glowing goddess! I've recently been gifted a couple of products from the Diamond collection and I was extremely thrilled, as this came just in time for the holiday season and I can wear all the shimmer I want without the guilt! If you're interested to know what I think about the two products from the collection, then please keep on reading!
As ever, the items I'm going to review in my blog post today were kindly gifted by Sephora's PR team but all opinions are my own.

Gloss Bomb Lip Lumanizer - Diamond Milk (AED 95):
This isn't the first time I'm trying a gloss bomb from Fenty Beauty, as the shade "Fenty Glow" has been one of my favourite glosses over the past year or so and it looks flattering on almost all skin tones. The packaging of these gloss bombs is very simple yet elegant and I love that it comes in a transparent tube, so you can monitor the amount of product inside. Also, the gloss wand is quite huge and helps distribute the product evenly on the lips from the first swipe. I was sent the shade "Diamond Milk this time, which is a clear and cool toned gloss with silver glitter reflects. I have to admit I was a little intimidated by this shade, as I prefer glosses with warm or golden tones. However, I was quite surprised on how it looks on the lips, as it gives the lips a nice glaze and dewy finish like no other - without washing out your complexion. Not to mention that it doesn't feel overly sticky or gritty on the lips, considering it contains many reflects. The gloss is perfect on its own or as a finishing touch to add a pop of glitter to any lip colour.

Diamond Bomb All-Over Diamond Veil (AED 175):
The packaging of this highlighter is a stunner to start with, as it has specs of glitter that reflects under the light. This product has the same icy tone as the gloss bomb and it's loaded with even more shimmer, which is supposed to give a 3D look to your face and body. I was also gifted a Kabuki brush to be used with this highlighter to help diffuse the product on the skin. It also feels extremely soft and can be purchased separately to achieve best results with this highlighter. Once again, I wasn't sure if the glitter in this product would look excessive on my skin , however I was totally blown away with the result after trying it on. The formula of this highlighter is key, as it glides on the skin smoothly and leaves behind a lovely and non-chunky dewy glow. I have only used this product on my face so far, but I'm excited to try it on my body over the holiday season. Also, the highlighter would look great on the eyes and inner corners for a pop of shine.

Overall Opinion:
I'm highly impressed by the quality and results achieved by these two products from Fenty Beauty. Glittery products are quite tricky to wear, but Fenty made it possible to wear extremely reflective products without looking excessive. I totally recommend these two products if you're on the hunt for high quality glitter products that suits all skin tones and looks beautiful on.

Note: Fenty Beauty products are available at all Sephora Middle East stores and on the website.
