Review: Filorga Makeup

Filorga is one of my best brand discoveries over the past few years, as I have tried so many of their products and they always deliver good results. So, I was over the moon when I heard that Filorga is coming up with a new makeup line, because I knew the products will probably focus on perfecting the skin and making it look flawless - just like their skincare lines. The new range consists of three products: two primers, foundation and translucent setting powder - I have only tried the last two products and this is what I'm reviewing for you today!

As ever, the foundation and powder were kindly gifted to me by the Filorga team, but all the opinions in this post are my own. Now let's get into the review!

Flash Nude Fluid Foundation:

This foundation comes in 3 different shades and it contains an SPF of 30 to protect the skin against the sun. I always go for shade 2 in most of my foundations, but I had to go for shade 01 with this foundation and it seemed to match perfectly. The consistency of this foundation is quite runny, so you would need to shake it well before using and also mens you can customise the coverage to your preference. The foundation seems to blend nicely with both a sponge or brush - if you want a sheer coverage you can apply one layer or build it up if you want a full coverage. This fluid gives a fresh, natural and dewy finish, which works well for my dry skin. If you have oily skin however, you might have to set it with a powder. In my opinion, the foundation looks flawless on the skin and doesn't cake up at all. I like to set my T-zone with powder after applying this foundation and it seems to stay on all day without separating or flaking. I don't have breakouts or blemishes though, so you might want to pair this foundation with a heavy duty concealer if you have scars or dark spots. 

Flash Nude Powder:

This is a translucent powder that will set all your base products in place without drying the skin, as it contains Hyaluronic acid to keep the skin looking fresh. The powder compliments all skin tones due to having no colour, it also works for all skin types. I like to use this product on my T-zone to remove any shine, but you can totally apply it on your entire face. This powder makes the skin look super smooth, silky and reduces the appearance of pores. Also, due to having an invisible and light texture - you can totally pop it in your handbag to touch up on the go and it still won't look cakey or feel heavy on the skin. 

Overall Opinion:

I've been enjoying Filorga's new makeup line so far, as the products are super high quality and they provide a flawless finish to the skin. I totally recommend these products if you're looking for base products that feel lightweight on the skin, yet delivery flawless results. Filorga's products are more on the pricey side of the spectrum, but they're totally worth it.
