Review: Gosh Cosmetics Products

If you have been following me for a while, you would know that Gosh cosmetics is one of my favourite drugstore brands, my last blog post was even about of their mascaras! I have also been testing quite a few products from this brand such as powder eye shadows that come in a stick form, a face and lip primer! So, today I'll be sharing with you my experience with these products and let you know if these were a hit or miss.


Before I start the review, I just wanted to mention that Gosh has kindly sent me these products to test out, but all the opinions mentioned in this blog posts are my own.

So, without any further adieu let's just get into the review :)

1- Gosh Pore & Wrinkle Minimizer Primer:
I haven't been using a lot of foundations recently, as I feel like they sit on top of my skin or just settle into my lines. However, I do use concealer under my eyes to hide my dark circles and on my nose as I suffer from redness in this area. Thus, I do like using primers around my nose area to make the concealer blend smoothly and reduce the appearance of pores. So, I was excited to start trying this primer from Gosh as it's supposed to smooth out pores and lines to create a perfect canvas for your base products. The first thing I noticed about the primer is the white colour, which looks like a face moisturizer but this one has more of a silicon texture that becomes transparent as soon as you blend it into the skin. The formula is super easy to blend and it does indeed make the skin super smooth, but I have also noticed that it gives a matte finish so this might be a good solution for people with oily skin as well. I loved how my concealer looked flawless on top of this primer and it also stayed on the whole day without budging. So, I can definitely say I'm a big fan of this primer and recommend to anyone who might be looking for affordable pore filling products. 

2- Gosh Fix It Lip Primer:
Gosh is know for it's innovative products - so they have also come up with a lip primer to smooth  your lip and make your lip products stay on for longer without bleeding or feathering. The first thing I noticed about this product is how it looks like a lip balm. However, as soon as I applied this product on my lips, I felt like it did hydrate and smooth them but they weren't not too slippery - as normal lip balms are usually too hydrating that your lipsticks start to slide off. Thus, this product was perfect for me as I felt like I can wear any kind of lipstick, including liquid lipsticks, without having to worry about my lips looking dry and flaky - and it made my lip products stay on my lips for a long time. 

3- Gosh Eye Designer:
These are unique eye shadows that come in a stick format with a sponge applicator, which allows you to blend the color without the need to use brushes whatsoever. These eye shadows come in 5 different shades and the ones I have are called fudge and crush. Even though the formula of these  shadows is described as waxy, I felt like they were more on the powdery side. However, they do glide on the eyes smoothly and create a lovely base on the eye lids that can be worn on its own or with other products. These shadows are not insanely pigmented, but I feel like they're great for days when you want to wear less makeup - as they do add a nice hue on the lips but they're not too crazy. Also, if you're not a big fan of eye primers like myself, these will feel more forgiving and look amazing on your eye lids. Also, the sponge applicator does help you blend the shadows easily, so this product is super handy on the go or while traveling. In terms of longevity, these seemed to stay on my eye lids for a long time without creasing or fading - but if you have oily eyelids then you might want to wear a loose powder or eye shadow on top.

    

Overall Opinion:
Gosh cosmetics continue to impress me with the quality of their products, as I really enjoyed playing with these new items. The products were definitely a hit and I totally recommend them to anyone looking for innovative, quality and affordable makeup.
